d12 – 3wk shakedown

Laundry:

We got to sleep in fresh sheets last night, as we also did laundry yesterday.
In all the turtle excitement, we forgot to tell you!

The washing machines are actually

huge, and we can do a weeks laundry easily in one load, and its only $4.
Bargain!

The Park also has a lot of accessible clothes lines; as well as a huge dryer that takes about 3 washing machine loads for $5.

Daily Duty:

Each morning around 9:30am, the Tall One goes to the office to extend our stay for yet another night, and today we were given a break and given a free night, so we’re feeling rather grateful for that thoughtfulness.

The Short One has been pulling weeds out of the garden beds, and watering patches of flowers and the broms as she does the rounds a few times a day while walking Mabi, so we’ll call it even 🙂

Food:

We had leftover pizza for lunch, and will be having different dinners.

One will have fish tacos, and one will have corn crackers with cheese and tomato.
Basically we’re using up our fridge stocks, as neither of us likes to throw away food, and our fridge isn’t wildly cold, so everything has less of a shelf life than food in the average household fridge.

This is also why we had to eat the last of the malteasers yesterday!!! 😀

Until next time – happy travels, and make the moments matter.
