Suburban stop-over

Our Son and Daughter-in-law had invited us to spend Christmas with them north of Adelaide – which was kind of them – so that was our next stop.

We had also arranged for us both to have our hair cut as the last time we’d had a hair-cut was three months earlier, and we were both looking decidedly shaggy.

We can definitely recommend Hair and Beauty by Tarli if you’re in the area.

Maintenance

We had also arranged for Chris from Around Australia Caravan Repairs – (ph: 0432169106) who was in the area at the time, to come to the house the day after we arrived to reseal the sides of the bus, which is part of the ongoing and regular maintenance that needs to be done to all motorhomes.

It’s great when we are able to have services come to us – instead of having to leave the bus somewhere and have no-where to go, and no-where to have the dogs be able to be in their ‘safe-space’.

Xmas

Christmas Day was a nice day.
It started with a cuppa, then present openings, then a breakfast of croissants, – then moved into the rest of the morning playing around with toys, reading, and just generally spending time together.

For lunch, our Son, Daughter-in-law and Grandson went to a friends place to celebrate the day and to have lunch and spend time with them as has become their tradition; then we all got back together for the evening meal which we’d decided earlier in the week would be a platter of meats, cheeses and fruits.
Yummy!
